March for Babies Comes to Louisville

March for Babies | Louisville, KY | Bankruptcy LawyerThis month, the March of Dimes will hold a March for Babies in Louisville to raise donations and awareness.

Originally started by former president FDR to fight polio, the March of Dimes is an organization that works to help families have healthy babies. The organization provides support for pregnant mothers, offers grief counseling for families who have lost children, and researches the causes of premature birth and birth defects.

Since 1970, March for Babies has raised an impressive $2.3 billion to benefit babies and families.

You can support this great cause by attending the March for Babies in Waterfront Park. The event is free, but donations are always accepted.

March for Babies will include a three-mile walk followed by entertainment and food.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 10 at 129 E. River Rd. in Louisville.

March of Dimes relies on donations from supporters to provide its community programs and funding for research. I encourage you to lend your support this month! If you can’t attend, you can find other ways to volunteer at the March of Dimes website.
