Louisville is the place of beautiful, historic architecture and neighborhoods. Connecting several of those neighborhoods in Frankfort Avenue.
Frankfort Avenue connects St. Matthews, Clifton, and Crescent Hill. Bursting with character, The Avenue boasts numerous charming and unique shops, boutiques, studios, galleries, and more. These attractions include libraries, parks, and attractions like the American Printing House for the Blind. The Avenue is also a culinary center, with over 30 great restaurants occupying a 2.5-mile length of road.
On the last Friday of every month, you have the chance to explore Clifton, Crescent Hill, and Butchertown on a trolley starting at Frankfort Avenue. The trolley ride is completely free and runs from 6-10p.m. The trolley runs along Frankfort Avenue, Mellwood, and Story Avenue.
You’ll not only get to know some of Louisville’s most beloved neighborhoods, but also enjoy the live music, free refreshments, and sales offered by many businesses on the trolley nights.
